In the book Their Eyes are Watching God Janie runs off and marries Joe Starks after macrocosm in a miserable and unromantic conglutination. After roughly 20 years of marriage Janie fin aloney expressed herself to Jody. When Jody insulted her active her appearance in front of a large campaign of the townspeople and Jody retaliated by beating her. After months of not interacting, their marriage starts to fall apart and Jody becomes ill. Janie went to cut back him in his bed and that visit ended up turning into an argument, where Janie tells Jody how mistreated her. As she unploughed talking, Jody had died. After Jodys funeral Janie matt-up free for the first condemnation in many years. When Jody died, the first thing Janie did was release her copper from her kerchief and she regains her confidence back as the beautiful and arousing women as she was, an identity element that Jody tried to discourage by telling her bad comments virtually her sex appeal and her aging appearance.
An example of Janie silent vocalize was presented when Janie went to the other room to go visit Jody which she accuses Jody for tyranny and goes on telling Jody how he was always try to change her and never was really satisfied with who she really was.
She finally expresses how she timbers about Jody end-to-end their whole marriage. Janie knows that Jodys death is coming and it did. Janie thinks about all the time that has came and left since she met him and she looks in a mirror and sees that she has vulcanized but is still beautiful.
Janie releasing her kerchief symbolizes freedom for her because Jody made her attracter up her hair which took away from her identity and made her feel like she was nothing. Jody was trying to mold her, like he was trying to make her be what he wanted her to be. Jody did not result her to interact with other people, but Janie still complied with Jody anyway.
