For a supervisor to be able to efficaciously manage those employees under them, that supervisor needs to know just about of the best practices in the areas of colloquy. Orientation and training, improving productivity, performance appraisals, solvent conflicts and improving relations among employees are examples of said practices. These practices will protagonist to minimize riddles within the compevery in each of these areas. A supervisor needs to be able to keep these practices in mind when working daily with their employees because these are common problem areas that green goddess be displayed on a day by day basis. Supervisors should have almost experience in some of these areas before getting this position. They should also practice some of these so that it becomes part of their everyday routines like with communication. I will be giving the two best practices for each topic.
Communication is a critical part of being a supervisor, both literal and nonverbal. There needs to be constant communication passing play on within the company and the supervisors are a outsized part of this chain.



Since they are overseeing the individuals under them, they are also accountable for communicating what they are doing and how workplace goals are being met to those in a higher place them. Without proper communication with fellow employees, things can become mussy when relaying this information to those above. One practice for communication would be to earn all employees provide weekly written status reports to their supervisors, acknowledge what t removes were done last week, what tasks are planned next week, any pending issues and date the report (McNamara, 2007). This will ensure that the supervisor knows whats going on and also gives the employees the chance to ask questions if need be.
