Process:
1.Within the first few legal proceeding of being shown this trick, I had put to hireher that it involved something to do with the number of stacks [s] and the number remaining [r]. I had began to audition in my head the different scenarios, I came up with the image that it involved s being multiplied by itself. some other thing is that I began to think that it involved some secernate of a*(x-b)+c sort of scenario.
2.After 10 transactions I had make an in-out chart of the stacks, remaining, and total, I had taken the s and squared it, reckoned the total and added the remaining, because I was trying to figure out if there was a number that was being used to subtract everything (subtraction number) (I figured that the total was always slight than the stacks squared). 3.After 20 minutes of work I was beginning to get a equating together (s*s)-((22-(2*s)-r)=t(the 22 had came from and in-out table I had made with all the different subtraction numbers used. After to a greater extent work (and frustration) I had called it a break. (20 minutes 5:00)

I spent another 20 minutes from square one, I had reached the identical verdict but with out that magical 22 I had found. After a while I began to get the wrong subtraction number from seven stacks (it unploughed changing) yet once more I took a break. (20 minutes 5:00)
5.After (about) 6 minutes in my mother had came in asking me if a few cards were mine, they were, I discovered that I had a (fairly large) error in my work and that I didnt have 52 cards. So I continued with work, again from square one. Eventually I had gotten frustrated and kept view I was going in circles because kept reaching the same point, again and again. (10 minutes 5:00)
