World Religions Hindu Interview

Instead, I remembered when I was younger, and spent the night at a friend of mines house and every time I walked past his parents room I could just see inwardly their room, and noticed that it looked like there was a shrine of just about sort, and since then I have always been curious. I started off the interview of flux by talking about my childhood and about what gaiety we used to have staying over there. I then asked how farsighted he had been practicing his religion and he said of course that he was born into the religion and was raised practicing the religion in India. I asked him if there were any rituals or practices that Hindus generally go threw when soul is expecting a baby or maybe even after the baby is born, and he said there are a few different practices that more or less may choose to move when it comes to some nonpareil expecting a baby.



He said, one ceremony that is commonly performed is the naming ceremony in which the babies name is decided, another one is the feeding ceremony when the baby eats its first unfaltering food. He told me one other ceremony was the mundan which is when the babies chief is shaved. I then decided that I would ask him what some of the important holidays and traditions were that they practiced. He pretty much said as far as the holidays and festivals that there were quite a few of them practiced in their religion. He then more or less started to just kind of list some of the holidays. The first Holiday he mentioned was Mahashivaratri which I found out myself is a night that is sacred to Shiva. He mentioned Holi which is a festival of colourise and spring.
