In this photographic film at that place is conflict, stereotyping, social cognition and prejudice. All of the people in the depiction be not from the same social circle. This movie deals with the melting pot that America is in today. It shows how people deal with theses issues of race, gender, and class.
Stereotyping is delimitate in our book as beliefs about social groups in terms of the traits or characteristics that they are believed to share. The scene that stuck out to me the most as stereotyping was when the Islamic man was trying to purchase a gun. He was doing it so his storehouse would be safe. He was protecting his work and his family. The storeowner in the movie is a white male. He was refusing to let him purchase a firearm because he thought that he was part of Al Qaeda, because the people of Al Qaeda are Muslim and they have hurt our country. I am a offender of this stereotype.
