Of these both characters, I can extrapolate that there is no extra character that gained my liking to a greater extent than than the other.

I hold outt like Prince Prospero that much because I dont like his arrogant stead and his look of immortality. I also dont like the mysterious figure because he symbolizes the Red Death which caused sufferings to the people in the story. Though I dont like the characters that much, I understand Prince Prospero most thoroughly. I can understand that his stead is caused by too much of his wealth and pleasures in life. He was blinded by the stuff and nonsense things that the world offers and thus resulting to his article of faith of his immortal self.
